BIKES OF THE TERMINATOR:
Following the motorcycle stars of the
screen today we cover the bikes ridden by the Cyberdyne Systems Model
T-101 (a.k.a. Arnold Schwarzenegger). First up The Terminator 1984, for
this film they used a 1972 Honda CB750 Four K2 with a updated café
style, who can forget the car chase with Arnold firing the Armalite
AR-18 while riding and Kyle Reese throwing pipe bombs at him. T2:
Judgement Day brings us the 1990 Harley Davidson Fatboy a bike that was
not doing well on Harley showrooms floor until Arnold rode one in this
film, most memorable scene the jump into the drain sewer. T3: Rise of
the Machines brings us the Indian Chief Police a bike that never made it
to production, Indian was bankrupt and only delivered 2 of the 3 bikes
needed for this movie, so a Buell dressed as a Indian was used for the
stunt scenes, but I mean who cares about these bikes it was all about
that sweet Honda Elite scooter that Sarah Connor rocked in T1.
