Battles and Bricks: General Tiberius

Nov 16th, 13 A.D.
On this day, General Tiberius has a triumphant procession through Rome after siege of Germany.

To the governors who recommended burdensome taxes for his provinces, he [Tiberius] wrote in answer that it was the part of a good shepherd to shear his flock, not skin it.
  • From Suetonius, The Twelve Caesars, III. Tiberius, Ch. 32; translation by J. C. Rolfe

In the Battles and Bricks season, we aim to share the stories of the men-at-arms throughout history in a brick way. Every soldier has a story, and every story deserves to be told using bricks and minifigures. 😇
